Griffith Basketball Team Wins the Annual Intervarsity Championship

The Griffith College basketball team recently competed in the Annual Intervarsity Championship hosted by Trinity College. The team won the competition beating Ulster University 76-45 in the final.

The competition, which has been run since 1950, has only been won by a university, making Griffith College's win the first non-university team to win it. This great achievement caps a remarkable season for the team which sees them go undefeated all season and claim the college's first Division 1 League title in March.
