Griffith College establishes Computing Science partnership in Guangzhou

This past week, the Irish Ambassador to China, two Irish Embassy trade officers and a member of the Enterprise Ireland team helped formally mark the establishment of a Computing Science partnership in Guangzhou.

Griffith's partnership with Nanfang College, Guangzhou, was formally approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education in 2021. This collaboration was established during COVID and today marked the first physical meeting. The Embassy's presence, and the words from the Ambassador, further enhanced our reputation with this partner.

A big thank you to Waseem (Head of Computing Faculty), Luo Chi and Mao Zelaing (China Office Manager) for supporting the development of this partnership.

We look forward to welcoming our first learners from Nanfang College in 2025!
