Griffith Law Faculty present at the Irish Association of Law Teachers (IALT) Annual Conference 2023

The Irish Association of Law Teachers (IALT) annual conference has taken place on St. Patrick’s Campus, Dublin City University, on 10th and 11th November 2023. The theme of the conference was ‘Ireland in the EU at 50’.

The IALT conference is famous for its friendly and supportive atmosphere with speakers using the opportunity to present their current research and work in progress. 

Karen Sutton, Head of Faculty of Law at Griffith College was delighted to present her paper on ‘Assisted Dying and Minors: Is the Right to die moving closer for minors?’ as part of the Legal Rights and Legal Capacities panel. 

Karen was joined by a number of her colleagues from the Law Faculty, including, Precious Abebe, John Eardly, Marcus Gatto, Romina Maddalena and Dr. Ruhi Anand, presenting on their own areas of research at the conference.
