Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Taxation

The Graduate School of Business and College President Prof Diarmuid Hegarty were delighted to welcome Tom Maguire, tax partner for Deloitte and current author of Ireland’s leading tax textbooks, to discuss our newly launched Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Taxation. Tom joined Griffith tax lecturers past and present to discuss the relevance of the course to career growth and the future needs of the industry. Paula Byrne, the tax expert behind the course stated “As we approach 50 years of tax education in Griffith College, it is very exciting to see this course commence. The Certificate in Advanced Taxation is a postgraduate course which enables accounting professionals to significantly extend their skills, knowledge and client engagement rates in the increasingly complex domestic and global taxation environment. This course develops technical and legal know-how in taxation, emphasising client engagement and consultancy skills.
