Frances Fitzgerald MEP visits Griffith College

Griffith College Faculty of Law were delighted to recently welcome Frances Fitzgerald MEP to our Dublin Main Campus to chat with our Law Students from our LL.B.(Hons) and LL.M. programmes. 

This event was held ahead of some our law students travelling to the EU Parliament in Brussels at the end of May and 3 of our students visiting Philadelphia as part of the Brehon Law Project. 

We would also like to thank all of those from within Griffith College for attending including Professor Diarmuid Hegarty, President of Griffith College and Ronan Fenlon, Director of Griffith College. Frances shared some insightful anecdotes about her life in politics, working on some big legislation in Ireland and life after serving as an Irish MEP in the European Parliaments for the last 5 years.
