Reigniting Creativity: Joanna Parkes’ 'Back to School' Workshop for Drama Teachers

The Leinster School of Music & Drama was delighted to welcome Joanna Parkes to Griffith College for a 'Back to School' workshop tailored for Drama Teachers from across the country. The session focused on practical techniques and creative strategies to re-energise the classroom as the new academic year begins. Joanna, a distinguished Drama Facilitator, shared valuable insights into engaging students of all ages through imaginative activities, helping teachers refresh their approach and foster a dynamic learning environment.  

Throughout the workshop, attendees had the opportunity to participate in hands-on exercises, discussions, and group activities that mirrored real-life classroom scenarios. The interactive format allowed teachers to explore new lesson planning and classroom management ideas. Joanna’s approach was accessible and practical, ensuring that every teacher left with tools they could immediately implement in their teaching.
