Course Details
Upon successful completion of the taught modules, MSc learners complete a dissertation with a credit volume of 30 ECTS.
Core Subjects
Learners gain an appreciation of the very real marketing challenges facing global firms today and develop the technical and professional competencies to address such issues.
The module provides learners with a deep understanding of the conceptual foundations, strategic implications, and practical applications of digital transformation in the context of modern business management.
Learners gain insight into what is required to reach the highest standards of corporate governance and Sustainable Business Management looks at the current challenges and opportunities facing companies in their responsibilities to their many stakeholders and the evolving societal expectation for businesses.
This module concerns the international nature and scope of contemporary human resource management and the strategic application of human resources activities and international techniques.
This module develops a practical understanding of the role and goals of financial management, financial accounting and management accounting and be able to apply them to business situations
Learners learn how to effectively lead individuals, teams, and organisations, by developing a deep understanding of the role and impact of leaders in responding to business, stakeholder, ethica,l and environmental issues in contemporary business.
Learners will gain knowledge and insight into the nature, purpose, and significance of business, commercial, and academic research. The module will guide learners on how to conduct a critical literature review using the best practices to develop a critical approach
Elective Modules
This module provides insight into the role of a marketing practitioner working in sustainability and critically evaluates the changing relationship of sustainability to marketing.
The module builds learners’ practical skills in applying fundamental statistical methods and data analysis techniques specific to brand analytics in real-world global brand performance scenarios.
The module equips learners, as they enter an ever-changing business world, with the tools to analyse and evaluate issues through the lens of an economist.
This module looks at this changing environment and considers the impact on capital markets, investment, and trading, including products, pricing, risk, and return.
Dissertation
Learners enhance their knowledge, research and business communication skills and contribute significantly to their chosen field through a supervised research project.

How to Apply
Entry Requirements
Applicants must normally hold an approved honours degree in the field of business or management or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary/professional institution. Students with relevant work experience may be eligible, for more information see the APEL section below.
English Language Proficiency
All applicants for whom English is not their native language must provide proof of English language proficiency to a standard of at least 6.5 in IELTS, 575 TOEFL or equivalent.
Griffith College is now accepting the online Duolingo English Test (DET) as valid proof of English proficiency. Please see here for further details.
Accreditation of Prior Learning and Prior Experience (APL/APEL)
The Graduate Business School welcomes applications from those with prior academic and/or professional learning experience which may be relevant to the MSc in International Business Management programme. Applicants who wish for their prior academic and/ or professional learning experience to be considered are requested to indicate this at the time of application and we will be happy to examine all of the relevant documentation accordingly.

Non-EU students: Student Services and Administration fee of EUR200 is payable each academic year in addition to the fees quoted below.
General Fee Information
An Academic Administration Fee of €250 is payable each September at the start of term. For students starting in the January/February term, €125 is payable in February, and then €250 will be payable each September from then onwards.
A 2% Learner Protection Charge is applicable each academic year in addition to the fees quoted. The fees above relate to Year 1 fees only.

2% Learner Protection Charge
All QQI accredited programmes of education and training of 3 months or longer duration are covered by arrangements under section 65 (4) of the Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training) Act 2012 whereby, in the event of the provider ceasing to provide the programme for any reason, enrolled learners may transfer to a similar programme at another provider, or, in the event that this is not practicable, the fees most recently paid will be refunded.

Progression
Academic Progression
If you are a graduate of the MSc in International Business from Griffith College, it is possible to retain this qualification as well as receive an MBA in International Business award on successful completion from Griffith College.
What is the process?
If you are a graduate of Griffith College, it is necessary to reapply formally through the Griffith College website. However, you will only have to submit the documentation that is mentioned in our Experiential Learning Report.

You will need the following documentation:

Stating your suitability to be an MBA candidate.
A brief outline of your current role and where you feel the MBA will bring your career.
A short profile on your current organisation and the sector in which it operates. If naming your organisation, you will need written permission from said organisation.

- Experiential Learning Report Proposal
This proposal requires applicants to reflect on and discuss their personal development as a manager. Please refer to the Experiential Learning Report.

Yes, this can be done fully remotely from outside of Ireland if the candidate is overseas.
