How long does it take to complete the Accountancy qualifications?


The ACCA allows students seven years to pass their exams. Further details are available on the ACCA website.


CPA courses cover 4 years:

  • Formation 1
  • Formation 2
  • Professional 1
  • Professional 2.

Exemptions may be granted by CPA beforehand. Further details are available on the CPA website

Accounting Technicians Ireland

These courses are over two years.

  • First Year
  • Second Year

What is e-learning?

E-Learning is a self-study course that you work through at your own pace using Griffith College study materials, a wide range of online resources and tutor support when you need it.
You will also have access to our live streamed video recordings of the relevant subject and attendance at the revision course is included in the e-learning fee. Students can opt to either attend this revision course or access it online


  • Access to our ‘Live Streaming’ feature, available via our Moodle system and accessible until your exam period
  • Student access to our Moodle system
  • Access to experienced tutors for your paper
  • All relevant material including Kaplan and/or BPP Main Study Text & Practice Kit (Irish Variant Material will be produced in-house)
  • Lecturer’s notes (Either hard copy or digital)

The School of Professional Accountancy at Griffith College offer the following Accountancy Courses:-

  • ACCA Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (in Dublin, Cork and Limerick)
  • CPA Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (in Dublin and Cork)
  • ATI Accounting Technicians Ireland (in Dublin only)
Can I get a refund?

It is the policy of Griffith College that fees will not be refunded after the commencement date of a course

How do I get a receipt?

How do I get a student card?

Students need to upload a photo and request a student card via the following link:

Why can't I access Moodle?

If a student's account is in arrears, if we are awaiting an instalment form, or if a password needs to be reset, Moodle might not be accessible.  For further details, please contact IT Services.

How do I pay online?

Students can pay online by accessing this link:

and clicking into fees and payments

(students will need their student number to make any online payments. If you require information on your student number, you can email [email protected] )

Can I pay by instalments?

We offer instalment payments over a three month period:

40% of the full fee on registration

30% of the full fee at the end of the second month

30% of the full fee at the end of the third month

(Please note that we need to have a completed, signed instalment form completed by the student also)
