Our people - Ger McCarthy

Since qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in 2002, Gerard has gained extensive experience in public sector financial management and is currently engaged as a finance manager in the local government sector. He has also lectured extensively to ACCA and CPA students over that time, specialises in the areas of financial management, performance management and management accounting. He has been published in the Journal of Finance and Management in Public services as part of his MSc in accounting and has lectured many prize-winning students for both ACCA and CPA over the years.
