Free higher education

Springboard+ provides free higher education courses for people who are unemployed. Employed students can also apply for a Springboard+ course but must pay a 10% contribution toward the course fee for Level 7, 8, and 9 courses. To learn more, visit Springboard’s website and choose Griffith College as the provider. Or, you can call our Dublin and Limerick campuses where Springboard+ courses are offered.

Since Springboard+ courses cater specifically to the unemployed, homemakers and other non-traditional students, a variety of study options are available. Full-time, part-time and blended learning options are all available, so you can study the way you choose. Griffith operates an open-door policy which means learner support and guidance is readily available, and our lecturers are readily available to help.

ICT Skills Initiative
Study in a range of fields

Courses are offered in a range of in-demand fields. Every Springboard+ course qualifies students in a growing industry sector with a high demand for new personnel. In particular, the Information Communications Technology initiative offers ICT Conversion courses to specially qualified students according to Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policies and those with relevant experience.
