Biography

Alice Childs is module co-ordinator for CTE, PGDTE and MATE in Pedagogical Practice, Dissertation supervisor for the MA in Training and Education and an experienced Learning Technologist with both Griffith College and University College Dublin.   Alice is a member of HECA (Higher Education Colleges Association) and held the position of Associate Principal/Senior Lecturer at Leeds Trinity University, UK (1999-2007) specialising in Communications and Journalism at level 9.  Alice was an external examiner for Plymouth University and also has a background in Broadcasting as a Bi-media Producer with the BBC (1993-1999).  Publications include The Meaning of Life 2 with Gay Byrne, Gill & Macmillan; Edited by Alice Childs (2014).
