Our people - Barry Denby

Barry is a lecturer in the Faculty of Computing Science. He has a first class honours degree and a research Masters in computer science from UCD. His Masters was in computer graphics and virtual reality environments and his research resulted in the development of the LAIR (Lightweight Affordable Immersion Room), a fascinating virtual environment system proposed for use in space and financially constrained situations. This research also resulted in a development library for running applications on those environments.
