Our people - Marion Courtney

Marion Courtney joined the team in 2022 as the Careers & Industry Liaison Officer. Marion’s role focuses on liaising with industry in the Munster area to raise awareness of the Griffith College Cork graduates and helps students secure jobs and placements, during their studies and after they graduate.

Marion has 17 years professional experience having worked in a variety of sectors including Training & Education, Travel & Tourism, Not-For-Profit, Health & Wellness and the Public sector. She has worked in Ireland and also in the United States, Australia and The Netherlands. Her specialist areas are in Business Development, Business Management and Marketing.

Marion represents Griffith College Cork on the Network Cork committee and is a member of Cork Chamber of Commerce. She received the 2019 Network Cork Businesswoman of the Year ’Shining Star’ award.
