Our people - Paul Smith

Paul joined Griffith in 2019 and is responsible for all our Dublin South Circular Road campus accommodation catering to over 660 residents with his team at Griffith Halls of Residence. 

Before joining us, he worked both in Ireland and internationally in various senior leadership appointments in the hotel, catering, hospitality and student accommodation sectors spanning over 20 years. 

Under his management all 170 apartments have undergone significant refurbishment, benefiting from over €1.2 million investment from the college in 2021.  The residence was awarded “Best Student Accommodation” at the 2021 Education Awards and a Booking.com Traveller Excellence Award. 

He holds a Masters Degree in Business and Finance, and a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel and Tourism Management.
