Academic Qualifications
Suzanne is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, where she studied Drama and Modern Irish. She is currently pursuing a masters in training and education at Griffith College.

Biography

Suzanne has been teaching drama for over 20 years and is currently course director of the Higher Diploma in Drama Education at Griffith College. She also lectures in the pedagogy module.

She spent her early years as a tutor at Young People’s Theatre and then went on to become a director of Pygmalion Drama School for twelve years. In 2015, Suzanne co founded SB TheatreWorks, a drama school based in south Dublin which promotes self-confidence, creativity and fun through drama.

Suzanne lectures in Drama and the Creative Child at St Nicholas' Montessori College. She is also a drama teacher at a number of primary and secondary schools in south Dublin. When she’s not teaching, she runs professional development days on behalf of the Leinster School of Music and Drama.

In recent years, Suzanne was appointed to the board of Speech and Drama Teachers of Ireland and the board of The College of Dance. This year, she represented Griffith College in the National Forum for Professional Development pilot scheme.
