Apprenticeship student featured in the Irish Independent
Nicole Kelch is one of the first students to take on the AHAP two-year apprenticeship.
Congratulations to Griffith student Nicole Kelch who, in addition to being among the first to embark on the Advanced Healthcare Assistant Practitioner (AHAP) apprenticeship, recently had her journey profiled in the Independent. Following the Leaving Cert and a post Leaving Cert course, Nicole decided the apprenticeship was the best way to achieve her dream of a career in midwifery or nursing.
Since starting her apprenticeship in June, Nicole has spent one day a week taking classes at Griffith College, in addition to working at a nursing home in Lucan.
We wish Nicole all the best in her continuing study as she embarks upon this vitally important career path!
