CEO of PRII Dr Martina Byrne discusses careers in the PR industry with MA in Journalism & Public Relations students
Our postgraduate Journalism & PR students were treated to an exclusive audience with none other than Dr Martina Byrne, CEO of PRII
On Tuesday, March 9th, students on the MA and postgraduate diploma in Journalism & Public Relations were given a masterclass from PR expert and CEO of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII), Dr Martina Byrne.
Dr Byrne zoomed onto our students' screens live and shared her incomparable insights into the PR industry, the variety of careers within the sector, and gave the students an all-access guide to the institute's recent PR Industry Survey, which was conducted before the COVID-19 pandemic and featured in the Irish Times.
The MA in Journalism & Public Relations (and embedded postgraduate diploma) was accredited by the PRII in 2020, with Griffith College being one of only five institutions across Ireland awarded an accreditation from the Institute.
