GCD Student's design selected for new St. Luke's Hospital adolescent's room
Griffith College is happy to announce that a new play area for children, together with a new adolescent’s room at St. Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar was opened last Friday by Minister for Health Simon Harris. The design for the adolescent's area was selected by way of a competition organised in conjunction with the Griffith College Faculty of Design. Only in her second year at Griffith College, Annette Lund won the competition for best design for this project. The brief was to design a room where young people could wait for treatment whilst feeling comfortable and relaxed. The completed space encompasses a games console area, re-charging stations for devices, TV and comfortable seating.
