Griffith alumna wins big at the 2018 Irish Fashion Innovation Awards

Griffith College would like to congratulate Design alumna Sarah Murphy who won both the Fashion Designer of the Year Award and the Innovation Award in the 9th annual Irish Fashion Innovation Awards in Galway. The awards, hosted by Goldenegg Productions, presented a spectacular showcase from Ireland’s most promising designers at The Galmont Hotel & Spa in Galway City on March 22nd. 

Sarah competed against a shortlist of 43 aspiring designers, including 21 students from fashion colleges throughout the country, and was the only double award-winner on the night!
