Griffith graduate's work chosen for Source’s BA Graduate Photography Online 2017

Some great news from the Photography department; Julie Smyth’s recent graduate work has been chosen as 1 of 16 selectees out of 100's of students' work from photography programmes across Ireland & the U.K., by Ivy Lahon, Picture Editor, Save the Children,  one of Source Photographic Review's prestigious industry selectors,  for Source’s BA Graduate Photography Online 2017.

‘Inis’ is strong & simple in concept and absolutely beautifully made. Those of you that visited the Creative Show will remember the haunting landscapes and origami style prints.  Julie, who worked hard during her degree, has an amazingly creative and unique mind and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her work being recognised at such a prestigious level is very well deserved indeed.
