Minister Halligan Visits Griffith College

Minister Halligan with Diarmuid Hegarty and Heads of Business, Computing and Graduate Business

John Halligan T.D., Minister for Training, Skills and Innovation recently visited Griffith College and met with Diarmuid Hegarty, president of Griffith College, Tomás MacEochagain, Director of Academic Programmes, Seamus Fitzpatrick, Head of the Business Faculty, Waseem Akhtar, Head of the Computing faculty, Alan Lynch and Aine McManus, Heads of the Graduate Business School.

Minister Halligan was joined by two of his officials from the Department for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation for discussions around:

  • International education in Ireland
  • Ways in which the sector can be improved and used to generate more business
  • Apprenticeships and training skills initiatives
