Throughout the years, Griffith College has had the delight of educating some of Ireland’s most elite athletes. Past and present Griffith students from the Irish Rugby team include Sean Cronin, Fergus McFadden, Sean O’Brien, Jack Conan and Jordan Larmour.

Paired with this, Griffith College has named Irish rugby coach Joe Schmidt an Honourary Fellow. Other names to have been presented with this prestigious acknowledgement include Mary McAleese and Seamus Heaney.
