Soliciting Former Clients & Competing With Former Employer
John Eardly, Griffith's Programme Director for the LLB (Hons) in Irish Law course, was recently featured in 'The Brief' legal executive journal discussing employment law. John, who previously worked as Editor of the Employment Law Review Ireland, has written many important legal works over the years. In 2003, he was part of a team of authors published by the Law Society of Ireland in their ground-breaking book, "Discrimination Law in Ireland" which focused on the fast developing area of human rights and equality law in Ireland, while in 2002, he wrote one of the seminal and leading publications on employment rights in Ireland, "Bullying and Stress At Work. In his most recent article, he highlights the issue of restrictive covenants in Irish employment law, and charts the evolution of established legal principles.
