Benefits of doing a night time course at Griffith College
You may have kicked around the idea of doing an evening course this year. You may have wanted to upskill, learn new things or just do something to engage your brain. New Year is fast approaching so why not make education your New Years resolution for 2018?
An investment in yourself
The main objection most of us have is probably that it’s an investment of your time. It’s definitely hard to give up the lure of sitting cosily on the couch by the fire watching a bit of telly after a day at work. But doing an evening course is truly an investment in yourself. That’s really important to remember.
I’ve explored the questions you need to ask yourself when choosing a night time course in another blog here. And in this blog, I’ll cover the benefits of choosing Griffith College as the place to pursue your studies.
Evening Courses: What Griffith College offers you
We’ve got a huge variety of courses on offer - probably more than you’d think! You can choose from courses in Business, Computing, Design, Digital Marketing, Law, Media, Project Management, Counselling and Psychotherapy and many, many others. See the whole list here.
Location wise we’ve got centrally located college campuses in the city centres in Dublin, Cork and Limerick. There’s ample parking in our Dublin campus on the South circular road and across all our campuses they are close to public transport routes and other amenities.
Our courses are taught by highly engaged lecturers who are dedicated to ensuring course content is top-notch, industry relevant and up to date. Our courses constantly achieve highly graded customer satisfaction ratings.
We’ve got small class sizes so you get more attention from the lecturers. You’ll feel more confident at participating in class, asking questions and learning from your fellow students. There are great networking opportunities among your classmates for building your list of future business contacts.
There are flexible learning options - evening courses generally run one evening per week between 6.30pm and 9.30pm with a duration of 6, 10, 12 or 24 weeks depending on the particular course. Some of our skills development courses can be completed in 1 or 2 days. We also have some part-time courses that run on Saturdays only.
Longer term learning options - if you decide that you want to do more in-depth studies into your chosen topic, we have more advanced study options available. You can complete certificate, diploma, degree, postgraduate diploma and masters options at Griffith College too. We’re here to accommodate you when you decide to invest in yourself in a bigger way.
