Becoming an ACCA member is an exciting and rewarding journey that involves progressing through three key stages. Each stage is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and professional values needed to excel in the accounting and finance industry.
Students progress through three elements to achieve ACCA membership:
1. ACCA Exams
Applied Knowledge: Introductory finance and accounting exams:
- Business and Technology (BT)
- Financial Accounting (FA)
- Management Accounting (MA)
Applied Skills: Practical finance skills exams:
- Corporate and Business Law (LW)
- Taxation (TX)
- Financial Reporting (FR)
- Performance Management (PM)
- Financial Management (FM)
- Audit and Assurance (AA)
Strategic Professional: Leadership-focused exams:
Essentials:
- Strategic Business Reporting (SBR)
- Strategic Business Leader (SBL)
Options (choose two):
- Advanced Financial Management (AFM)
- Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA)
- Advanced Taxation (ATX)
- Advanced Performance Management (APM)
2. Ethics and Professional Skills Module
Develops essential skills through advanced ethical and professional scenarios.

3. Practical Experience Requirement
Complete 36 months of relevant work experience and achieve 9 performance objectives, supervised and signed off by a practical experience supervisor.
