Inspiring Creativity: Design Faculty's Art Workshop for Schools Week
The Design Faculty at Griffith College recently hosted an Art Workshop as part of Schools Week, welcoming secondary school students to experience the world of design! Led by Lecturer and illustrator Eva Kelly, the workshop focused on the art of making zines—unique, self-published creations that allow for endless creativity and personal expression. Students experimented with illustration, layout, and collage techniques, showcasing incredible creativity and originality as they brought their ideas to life.
The workshop offered a taste of what it’s like to study in the Design Faculty, with programmes in Graphic Communication Design, Fashion Design, and Interior Design. Seeing the students’ enthusiasm and potential was fantastic, giving us a glimpse of the next generation of creative thinkers. A big thank you to Eva Kelly and everyone who participated—your talent made the day unforgettable!
