You get a chance to do some real-life journalism
With Griffith FM radio station as well as The Circular (an online journalism site ran by Griffith College students which recently clocked up over three million views!), you can get the chance to get some practice in real-time situations.
Whether it’s recording your own podcast, going live on the airwaves hosting a radio show, putting together an online piece or recording a video - all of those skills can be honed and developed at Griffith College. You’ll also do modules in investigative journalism with lecturer Barry Finnegan to really hone your skills.

Journalism students at Griffith College come out knowing how to tell a story. That’s the primary aim for all journalists. But our graduates not only know how to tell that story, but how to film it, record it for radio (or podcast), how to write it for a website, newspaper or television script.
