This course gives a deep field view of the landscape of AI, through a bedrock of reading material, case studies and research. The course will also rely on the practical dimension of specific AI evaluation, use, discussion and reflection. AI use by learners is embedded into the programme on a weekly basis.
The course is validated by Griffith College. This course focuses on the development of professional skills and does not sit on the national framework.

- Industry disruptions through case studies and AI's effects on governance, sustainability, social cohesion, and legal issues.
- Practical strategies for using generative AI in professional settings are provided, emphasizing efficiency, problem-solving, and business strategy.
- AI collaboration for idea generation, decision-making, and workload management while identifying future skills and industry trends shaped by AI.

How to Apply
Entry Requirements
Mature Students (Over 23 Years)

5 O6/H7 grades in the Irish Leaving Certificate or equivalent award.
OR
FETAC Level 5 Full Award
English Language
It is recommended that applicants have a good understanding of both written and spoken English.
*Non-native English speakers are not required to submit a copy of IELTs test results or take an English-level test as part of the application process.
It is recommended that applicants have a minimum of 1 year of business experience.

Early Booking Discount: Enrol and pay a €500 deposit before 18th December and receive a 20% discount.

Graduates from this programme may consider the BSc (Hons) in Computing Science within Griffith College, subject to satisfying the entry requirements.
