Griffith College Mourns the Passing of Thomas Geoghegan
Griffith College is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Thomas Geoghegan, beloved father of our Director of Academic Programmes, Dr. Tomás Mac Eochagáin.
Mr. Geoghegan peacefully left us on August 31, 2023, under the wonderful care of the staff at St. Gabriel’s Nursing Home, Raheny. He was the cherished husband of the late Una and leaves behind a loving family.
Tom is survived by his children Hugh, Úna, Tomás, and Eoin, along with their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbours.
Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Dr. Tomás Mac Eochagáin and his family during this challenging time.
As a mark of respect following the passing of Thomas Geoghegan, father of our Director of Academic Programmes Dr Tomás Mac Eochagáin, Griffith College will be closed this morning, Wednesday 6th September 2023.
