Computer Facilities
Griffith College offers a wide range of computing, applied digital media and multimedia programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level as part of its overall suite of courses. The College has fourteen computer labs at its centrally located South Circular Road campus, equipped with the latest iMac and PC desktops. The College has in recent years strongly increased its focus on online and blended learning facilities, recognising the rapidly growing student interest in flexible delivery options. Many Griffith courses are now fully available online, including in professional accountancy and law. Griffith College regularly hosts computing workshops for students and school leavers to introduce them to current industry trends such as mobile applications and gaming technologies. Its most recent workshops attracted over 400 applications and received widespread national media coverage. Car Parking
Griffith College Dublin is built on a seven-acre campus. Car parking space is available on campus for students. There are 376 car parking spaces which are allocated on a first come first served basis. Registered students with parking permits may use the parking facilities when available free of charge.
Restaurant
Griffith College has a state-of-the-art 350-seat restaurant on site. The facility incorporates a food court named Gather & Gather. The restaurant features freshly made food each day from a variety of cuisine. Make sure to taste a coffee from the Gather & Bew coffee counter, which is now serving roasted brown coffee.
The Students' Union Common Room
The Student Union common room has pool tables, a jukebox, table-tennis tables and a foosball table and provides an area for relaxation and fun for students between classes or during study week.
Fitness Room
The College has a fitness room that is available to all students in the college. The Fitness Room is located in the B Block, just off the main reception. The room contains various cardiovascular equipment most notably elliptical cross trainers, exercise bikes and treadmills. The room also has weight machines. Adjacent to the Fitness Room there are male and female changing rooms which are equipped with hot showers and secure lockers for gym gear.
