Graduation at Griffith College

What will my Graduation involve?

  • Those who have successfully completed their courses in 2024 will be conferred with their award at a ceremony arranged by the college and attended by the College President, academics and invited guests.
  • Ceremonies take place in-person in the month of November. If you do not attend your ceremony you will be conferred in absentia.
  • Those attending will register in advance for their academic robes for the ceremony, as well as applying for up to two tickets for their guests to attend. Professional photographers can also be booked to capture the moment with you and your guests.
  • During the ceremony you will be presented with your award certificate by the President of the College. Those who do not attend the ceremony have the option to collect their parchment or have it posted to them in the weeks after ceremonies finish.

How do I prepare to attend the ceremony?

  • Register your interest in attending, as well as booking your required academic robes.
  • At the same time as booking your robes you will be able to book your guest tickets. Please note: tickets are strictly limited to 2 per graduand.
  • Optionally: Book a professional photo to be taken on-site after the ceremony. Graduates arrange this directly with the photography company, not through the college.
  • Information and links for all of the above will be provided closer to 2024 ceremonies.

- You will still be considered a graduate following the ceremony, even if you do not attend.

- You will be contacted by the Graduations office in advance of ceremonies and can then arrange to either have your parchment posted to you, or to collect your parchment from the college, in the weeks following the ceremonies. You will find more information here.

- Please note: Collection or postage of parchments will not be permitted until after the graduation ceremonies have concluded.

If you or your guests require letters or documentation in relation to visas to travel for the ceremony, please contact the International Office: [email protected]
