Biography

Eryk Rawicz-Lipinski is a Materials Science & Structural Mechanics lecturer in the Design faculty. He studied architecture in Wroclaw Technical University in Poland, UCD School of Architecture, Dublin and Trinity College Dublin. Eryk has a keen interest in building sustainability, studied nZEB Policies and Technology in DIT, Dublin and is a certified Passive House Designer. He is a registered architect with the Royal Institute of the Architects in Ireland and is accredited in Conservation Grade 3. He has over 20 years of experience working in architectural practices in Poland and Ireland and worked on a variety of different scale projects ranging from data centres, offices, residential buildings to sports clubs and retail. Currently, he is working as an architect in Douglas-Wallace Consultants.

Research Interests

Eryk has been involved in research of the Modern Movement architecture in Ireland and has been a member of the non-profit organisation Docomomo International (Documentation and Conservation of Modern Movement) since 2015.
