Our people - Jonathan Creasy

Jonathan holds a PhD in English from Trinity College Dublin, and he is affiliated with UCD's Creative Writing programme and the Creative Futures Academy. He is the recent recipient of both film and literature bursaries from the Arts Council of Ireland, a residency in the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris and a Creative Fellowship from Harvard University. Jonathan is co-founder and director of Miracle Pictures, an independent Irish film & tv production company. He has also worked across the publishing and media industries. As a researcher, Jonathan has been awarded an IRC Postdoctoral Fellowship and a DAAD Scholarship (Germany). His research in creative arts and industries has been published internationally. As Dissertation Coordinator in GBS, Jonathan brings a passion for innovative research, teaching and learning, and a commitment to developing industry partnerships to benefit learners and researchers.
