At Griffith, we respect and acknowledge the dedicated work of school guidance counsellors. This page is dedicated to informing guidance counsellors on the range of opportunities available to their students, encouraging students to consider Griffith College as a third level option.
Our Schools Liaison Team are open to collaborating with guidance counsellors in Dublin, Cork and Limerick, particularly in the area of school visits. We can deploy a member of our team to visit a school or a College of Further Education and inform students about the range of undergraduate courses and progression routes available at Griffith. Also, Griffith College regularly offers CPD opportunities for guidance professionals at their campus on South Circular Road, Dublin or Wellington Road, Cork City. Most recently, we had Dr. Eddie Murphy, Clinical Psychologist, Author and Health Advocate deliver a CPD workshop in the area of Managing Students' Stress, Anxiety and Self-Harm. Further information on upcoming courses and workshops for guidance counsellors will be posted here in due course.
