Tanya Doyle, Griffith College Spotlight Series

Tanya Doyle is Griffith College's Head of Faculty for the Creative Arts and Screen Media Faculty. Tanya holds an MA in Film & Television Studies from Dublin City University and an MA in Screen Documentary from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Tanya is the Creative Director of Marmalade Films, an independent production company with an international outlook that was established in 2008. It focuses on high-quality creative documentaries for Irish and international audiences.

This coming-of-age movie follows the young female and male athletes of Team Ireland to intimately explore questions of gender, strength, performance, sexuality and what it’s like growing up in the world today.  Can Team Ireland reach their goal of being in the top ten in the world, and can cheerleading give these athletes a space to find themselves?
