Spotlight on Success: Linda Mellerick, Financial Management Consultant

In this edition of our ‘Spotlight on Success’ series, we celebrate Financial Management Consultant, six-time All-Ireland winner, and Griffith College Cork alumna, Linda Mellerick.

Linda is a versatile professional who has worked as Head of Finance, Director of Operations, CEO, and a Financial Management Consultant. Linda has significantly developed Ireland-based businesses to prepare them for new international markets, including in Europe and the US. Her experience allows her to make excellent decisions in customer, market, operational, logistical, and project management situations.

While Linda has had great success in the business world, she has also enjoyed an illustrious career as a camogie player. Widely regarded as one of the best and most influential camogie players ever to play the game, Linda was selected in the 2004 camogie ‘Team of the Century’ on the back of winning an amazing six All-Ireland medals with Cork. 

Linda has continued her involvement in the sport by covering senior club and inter-county championship camogie games and writing a column for the Cork Echo. She has also done radio work for Ireland’s national broadcasting station, RTÉ. 

As an esteemed alumna in accountancy, Linda was awarded the Griffith College Cork ‘Distinguished Graduate Award’ in 2019.
